science forces and motion

In science, I have done forces and motion and I have been doing calculating speed.

this is an Example
  ߡd=  change in distance
ߡT = change in time
A car travels 120 metres in 16 seconds.  calculate the speed of the car.
formula= v=ߡd/ߡT
working  =120m/16s
speed= 7.5ms-1

If you want to find the answer you put in google the number of minutes and the amount and put enter and you will find the answer.
You will always need to put ms-1 on the end of it so they know what it is.

what thing would you calculate speed?

YOU can calculate the speed by dividing the distance travelled by the amount of time it took.

YEAR 11 STUFF

IN science I did the plane drop. I was trying to find out what plane drop the longest. And there were six planes the six one was the longest to drop.

AIM;
to investigate the relationship between wing size and drag.

Equipment;
stopwatch, 4 papper planes (oppsite page), a ppaper clip, scissors, meter ruler.

Method;
1. cut out and assemble the four helicopters shown on the opposite page. Attach the paper clip to one of the helicopters.
2. one member of your group holds the helicopter at a height of 2 meters.
3. on the count of three, the person holding the helicopter drops it, while another member of your group times how long it takes for the helicopter to hit the floor.
4. record your results in the table below.
5. Repeat each drop three times.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 using the other helicopter models.

Conclusion;
the planes land at different times. Some land at a shorter time and some land at more time.

Right hand Grip Rule Demonstration

FIRST ONE

Aim:
 To determine the shape and direction of a magnetic field that forms around a current-carrying wire.

method
1. your teacher will set up the wire carrying so that it travels vertically and through a platform, as shown in the diagram below.
2. they will then sprinkle iron on the platform near the wire.
3. after turning the power supply on your teacher will tap the platform to allow the iron fillings to move.
conclusion:
when I put the magnetic field on the card it went left around the nail.

SECOND ONE

Method
1. your teacher will replace the iron fillings with a number of the small compasses that forms a circle around the wire.
2. note the direction that the compass is pointing.
3. Ensuring the current is flowing upwards through the platform your teacher will turn on the power supply.
4. now note the direction that the compasses are pointing.
5. with the power supply changed so the current flows downwards through the platform note the direction the compasses are pointing.
conclusion:
when the iron fields are places around the nail the compasses point the same way.

Writing a persuasive essay

In English, we have been learning to do persuasive writing. In my topic, I have chosen is should we get rid of school uniforms.

I think we should not get rid of school uniforms and if we have to
school uniforms everyone feels good. I think we should keep the
school uniform because it looks good to
wear.i think if we don’t get rid of our school uniforms and we are
using anther team in the sport we are respecting our school.

I disagree that we should get ride our school uniforms. I think we
should not get ride of school uniforms because it looks nice.
I think we should keep our school uniforms because it looks
presentable. I think we should not get ride of school uniforms
because if we do the sport we are respecting our school.
I think if we are out and about and we do good thing people can
come and tell the school. if we don't get rid of our school uniforms
Everyone's fell happy. If we keep our school uniforms we will get a
good comment for wearing our school uniforms.

We should keep our school uniforms because we look good in
it and we respect the school and we can get good comments
about wearing our school uniforms.
