investigating state changes

Aim'  to beserve water as it changes state from soild toliquid and then to a gas.

 EQUIMENT; a 250 ml beacker,thermometer,Bursen burner,heatproof mat,triod and gauze mat,stopwatch,report stand,and clamp,ice cubes

 method 
1 collect ice so it half full
2 set up the report stand alongside  the tripod and gauzemat
3  place the beacker  of ice on the qauze mat 
4  record th initil temperature of the ice data table below
5  light the bur ner and stared timing with the stopwatch
6 measure and record the temoerature 
7 contiune measuring and record the temperure untill the water has been boilling for 2-3 miuutes
